Brief Executive Summary
The Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration issued a report in which they investigated the security, planning, and response failures of the people and organizations that are claimed to be directly responsible for the failure of the Capitol's security during the events of the January 6th attack. The investigation uncovered many intelligence and security failures which ultimately led to the break of the Capitol. They further specify that these failures include intelligence agencies failing to warn of a potential for violence as well as a severe lack of preparation by USCP.
